Bent on Birding
Bent County Birding and Heritage Festival

Day activities include Dinosaur exhibit at John Martin Reservoir, a petroglyph tour, a Black Rail presentation, Least Tern/Piping Plover tour with Duane Nelson. Evening events at Boggsville, beginning at 4 pm, include a tour of Boggsville, a Raptor presentation with Diane Miller, a Chuckwagon Dinner, a presentation of Kit Carson at Boggsville by John Carson, great great grandson of Kit Carson, and travel to a Black Rail listening area with Duane Nelson. Fees are $35 for the entire day, $15 for the Boggsville events only, $10 for kids 3-12. Contact the Las Animas/Bent County Chamber of Commerce to register. 332 Amb.
