Stewardship Division: Workshops and Field Days

In order to increase awareness of the importance of wildlife habitat and how private landowners can assist in conserving these types of habitats, RMBO and partners hold regional landowner workshops and field days for private landowners and resource professionals. These events are hosted by a landowner or Farm County Bureau and typically consist of classroom style presentations and on-the-ground “how-to’s” describing the options landowners have to achieve wildlife habitat enhancement projects, including topics such as economic diversification potential, funding sources, and what types of wildlife and associated habitats RMBO and its partners are trying to help conserve. This is a chance for landowners to meet different organization representatives working in their area and to share information and ideas. Please refer to RMBO’s “What’s Happening” calendar or contact the Stewardship Division for any upcoming events.
